Everything your business needs to grow online, under one roof
Edgecom Web Solutions is a Nairobi-based web design and software development company helping businesses across Kenya and East Africa build a stronger digital presence. From custom websites and ecommerce stores to business systems, web hosting and domain registration, we design, build and run technology that turns visitors into customers.
Every project is mobile-first, search-engine optimised and built on clean, secure code — which means faster page loads, stronger Google rankings and a website that is genuinely easy to manage and grow.
Web Development
We design and build websites for Kenyan businesses, from a one-page landing site to a full online store. Every site is built for phones first, loads quickly and is set up for Google from day one. We can add M-Pesa and card payments, booking forms and WhatsApp enquiries. A landing page starts from KES 5,000 + VAT, a business website from about KES 20,000 + VAT, and an online store from KES 45,000 + VAT.

System Development
We build custom software for businesses whose work no longer fits in spreadsheets or off-the-shelf tools. That includes client portals, booking and dispatch systems, inventory and HR tools, dashboards and M-Pesa integrations. We also run our own products, including Edgecom CRM, School Manager, QueueChat, EstateOps and Microfin, so we know what it takes to keep software working day to day. Larger systems are delivered in phases, and you own the code.

Hosting
We host websites, email and domains on HostingKE, the hosting platform we run ourselves. Every plan includes free SSL, daily backups and monitoring, and you can pay in KES by M-Pesa or bank transfer. We register .co.ke and .com domains and set up business email on your own domain. If your site is hosted elsewhere, we move it across for free and plan the switch to avoid downtime.

SEO
We help Kenyan businesses get found on Google. Work starts with an audit of your site and your competitors. Then we fix technical problems such as speed, mobile layout and indexing. After that we improve titles, headings and page content, and set up your Google Business Profile for local searches. You get a plain monthly report on rankings, traffic and enquiries. Results usually build over three to six months.

Support
We look after websites once they are live, whether we built them or not. Support covers software updates, security monitoring, backups, content edits and speed checks. If something breaks, you contact a Nairobi team that knows your site, with response times agreed in your plan. We can also clean up hacked sites and restore them from backups. Plans are billed monthly in KES and can be paid by M-Pesa or bank transfer.

Web design in Kenya — common questions
Websites start from KES 5,000 for a landing page and around KES 20,000 for a business website. Ecommerce stores and custom systems are quoted on scope. Tell us what you need with our quote builder and we will send an itemised, fixed-scope figure within one business day. Prices exclude 16% VAT, which is added to the quote. Our website cost guide at edgecom.co.ke/website-cost-kenya breaks down every price and recurring cost.
A landing page takes about 1 week. A business website takes 2–4 weeks. An online store or custom system takes 4–8 weeks, and larger systems are delivered in phases. Much depends on how quickly your content is ready. Priority delivery is available if you are working to a deadline.
Every site ships with clean semantic HTML, fast load times, optimised titles and meta descriptions, structured data and a mobile-first layout — the foundations Google rewards. We also offer ongoing SEO and content so you can rank for the keywords your customers actually search.
